  16.      llllmmmmggggrrrrdddd is the main daemon program for the FFFFLLLLEEEEXXXXllllmmmm distributed license
  17.      management system.  When invoked, it looks for a license file containing
  18.      all required information about vendors and features.

  21.      ----2222        Specifies V2 startup arguments.  This is the opposite of the ----bbbb
  22.                switch.  Note that ----2222 switch is REQUIRED if you intend to use
  23.                the ----pppp switch.  (Available in lmgrd v2.4 and later.)

  25.      ----bbbb        Specifies backward compatibility mode.  Use this switch if you
  26.                are running a v2.1 or later lmgrd with a v1.5 or earlier vendor
  27.                daemon.  Note that in FFFFLLLLEEEEXXXXllllmmmm v2.4 or later the -b switch is the
  28.                default.

  31.                Use the specified license_file.  If this switch is not
  32.                specified, llllmmmmggggrrrrdddd looks for the environment variable
  33.                LM_LICENSE_FILE.  If that environment variable is not set,
  34.                llllmmmmggggrrrrdddd looks for the file
  35.                /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.

  38.                Specifies the output log file to use.

  40.      ----pppp        Specifies that the llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn and llllmmmmrrrreeeemmmmoooovvvveeee utilities can only be
  41.                run by a "license administrator". A "license administrator" is
  42.                a member of the llllmmmmaaaaddddmmmmiiiinnnn group, or, if the llllmmmmaaaaddddmmmmiiiinnnn group does
  43.                not exist, then a member of group 0.  (Available in lmgrd v2.4
  44.                and later.)

  47.                Specifies the logfile timestamp interval, in minutes.  The
  48.                default is 360 minutes.

  52.                daemons must complete their connections to each other.  The
  53.                default value is 10 seconds.  A larger value may be desirable

  75.      If no -c option is specified, llllmmmmggggrrrrdddd looks for the environment variable
  76.      LM_LICENSE_FILE in order to find the license file to use.  If that
  77.      environment variable is not set, llllmmmmggggrrrrdddd looks for the file
  78.      /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.
